We are currently seeking a Temporary Part-Time Italian Teacher (0.6 FTE) to join our vibrant school community in 2026. This job share position will run from 27 January 2026 to 27 January 2027.

About the Role

This teaching role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on student learning, working collaboratively within a supportive and future-focused school.

Key responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Teaching Italian with engaging, differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning needs

  • Designing effective learning plans, assessments and feedback using appropriate technologies

  • Motivating students to achieve their best and fostering a love of learning

  • Collaborating with colleagues to deliver high-quality learning experiences

  • Contributing to the spiritual and academic growth of students

  • Participating in school initiatives and fulfilling professional responsibilities as directed by the Principal or their delegate

About You

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Hold a recognised teaching qualification in Italian

  • Be accredited with NESA (or actively working towards accreditation)

  • Have a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)

  • Demonstrate strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Show commitment to Catholic education and the values that guide our school community

About the Organisation

St John Paul II Catholic College is part of the Catholic Schools Parramatta Diocese (CSPD), which supports more than 80 schools across Western Sydney.
