Summary:    Provide direct support to the Senior Assurance Specialist in delivering assurance activities

Location: Parramatta NSW

• 12 months FTC opportunity as a Quality Assurance Specialist with icare
• Hybrid working environment, with three days in Office
• Offering competitive starting salary of $129,464

About the Role

This role will provide direct support to the Senior Assurance Specialist in delivering assurance activities that relate to; Operational & Control Assurance including partnering and supporting external consultants to undertake the reviews on the team’s behalf; and Quality Assurance which focus on process and customer outcomes across a range of icare business teams.

Duties

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as an Quality Assurance Specialist  you will:

• Support the Assurance Lead in delivery the Quality Assurance program of work
• Support the Senior Assurance Specialist to set-up and manage reviews. This may include documenting the scope, requests for data/info, perform fieldwork, analyse information from the review and draft the reports (including findings and proposed action items).
• Undertake quality assurance reviews and support effective communication of outcomes and further initiatives to the business
• Review customer interactions to check consistency with the claims experience and develop and recommend corrective and preventive action
• Review of claims management outputs to compare compliance with policies and standards set by icare
• Research and prepare quality assurance reports and provide recommended solutions to any issued which may impact on the operation of the scheme
• Perform regular quality assurance reviews on insurance claims and policies as they relate to relevant guidelines and the Quality Assurance Framework.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholders to appropriately share information to support continuous improvement
• Proactively identify, monitor and analyse other sources of information to build awareness and insights into the above review topics.
• Ensure that issues identified during QA reviews are escalated appropriately for appropriate issue and action management
