About the role

Your work will help provide the reliable business services that enable our teams to stay focused on delivering important care and support across NSW.

As a Business Services Officer, you'll coordinate a varied mix of administration, financial processing, fleet support and stakeholder enquiries, balancing daily priorities with important monthly deadlines. You'll have the opportunity to build strong relationships across the business, use your Excel and problem-solving skills, and explore new ways of working, including how AI and automation could make administrative processes simpler and more efficient.

What you'll be working on

  • Manage and triage shared inboxes, responding to enquiries and connecting stakeholders with the right support.
  • Coordinate time-sensitive monthly activities, including financial transactions, account reconciliations and purchasing processes.
  • Manage two fleet vehicles based at Kent Street, including coordinating servicing, cleaning and other operational requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate business records, reports, correspondence and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate administrative services including travel, accommodation, meetings and other day-to-day business needs.
  • Work with stakeholders across the business to keep priorities moving and deliver activities within agreed timeframes.
  • Look for practical opportunities to streamline processes, including exploring AI and automation to improve administrative tasks.

What you'll bring

  • Experience in business administration, ideally including financial administration, reconciliations or other time-sensitive cyclical activities.
  • Strong Excel capability, including confidence using formulas and pivot tables to work accurately with data.
  • Strong organisation and time management, with the ability to prioritise competing activities and meet deadlines that impact other teams.
  • A high level of attention to detail and a commitment to delivering accurate, reliable work.
  • The confidence to communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • An adaptable approach and interest in using technology to find simpler, more efficient ways of working.
  • A current driver's licence, with the ability to attend our Kent Street office as required to manage fleet vehicles.
