About the Role
Implement, operate, and maintain End User Computing and desktop management technologies. Plan, support, troubleshoot technologies such as MECM application deployment, Azure Environments (including Intune and Microsoft 365) and Windows workstations.

Duties
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Technical Specialist you will:
- Provide technical expertise on applications and products, consulting on technical issues and reviewing technical designs.
- Design and implement technical solutions that meet business and technical requirements.
- Identify continuous improvements and implement any required changes on applications.
- Ensure that changes are implemented effectively in production and provide high level estimates for new initiatives.
- Contribute to and participate in the application development function including in-house development and external vendor-based development.
- Provide support for a range of technical tasks including initiatives, enhancements, and upgrades to ensure efficient and effective change and delivery.
- Collaborate with Service Desk and IT Operation teams in resolving operational desktop-related incidents, requests, and changes.
- Plan and perform regular and ad-hoc security and OS patching as required to meet security compliance across workstations.
- Develop and implement strategies to address identified security vulnerabilities, working with IT and security teams to ensure effective remediation.
- Provide support and guidance to internal and external teams and partners on complex issues to ensure effective delivery of technical and business outcomes.
- Develop, update, and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, process documentation, and training materials.
Skills & Experience
- Demonstrated experience installing, configuring, and supporting in scope applications.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in a complex technology environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of remediating security vulnerabilities
- Working knowledge of MECM, Netskope and Intune platforms and best practices.
- Sound knowledge of a range of IT software applications and hardware, technical infrastructure, systems, databases.
- Sound knowledge of NIST, Essential 8 and NSW Cyber Governance Frameworks.
- Experience in Insurance or Finance Domains
- Experience in enterprise level infrastructure
- Experience with both Windows and Macintosh Operating Systems
- Experience in collaborating with multiple stakeholders around the business (both IT and Business)
