About the Role

The Manager, Process Design & Measurement will:

(1) Thought Lead & execute Strategic Reviews (diagnostics) of E2E core processes, (2) Measure, Analyse & Interrogate Process Performance using Statistical tools (from Process re-engineering tool kit) (3) Build compelling Lean | Full Business Cases, Benefit profiles, Case for change etc (4) Deliver on Process Design & Re-engineering programs of work, (5) Track Benefits Realisation in partnership with stakeholders (& Finance) (6) Drive a Simplification, Rationalisation (where required) and a Modernization agenda. (7) Promote a culture of Process centricity, Continuous Improvement, Innovation and Data led insights on Process performance (8) Story tell & Influence Leaders | Cross functional SMEs (using Process insights) to re-imagine operations using a Technology and Operational Excellence lens.

An Individual in this role will bring a combination of Process Re-engineering Lean Six Sigma (Black belt) skills, Data driven Process Insights, Problem Solving skills, experience in leading Cross functional collaboration & Functional knowledge on Automation (+AI) technologies to transform business processes and build a scalable | sustainable model for business operations.

Duties

It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a Manager, Process Design & Measurement you will:

  • Forge enduring partnerships with Leaders (& Business partners). Lead Diagnostics | Discovery of existing E2E processes in partnership with cross functional SMEs. To identify Simplification | Rationalisation (where required) opportunities and Value Erosion (Leakage) points in the Value chain using Second order thinking.
  • Build & Execute on Data Collection Plans (DCP) to ensure data is collected consistently, accurately and efficiently.
  • Measure Process Performance using different techniques such as Time & Motion studies, Conformance Analysis and statistical tools such as Process capability analysis, Measurement System Analysis (MSA) etc.
  • Execute Process mining techniques & reconstruct the actual process from Event log data showing the sequence of activities, decision points, loops and workflow paths.
  • Analyse & Interrogate Process Performance. Identify sources of variation and waste using Stratified graphical tools such as Gage R&R, Stratified Histogram, Box plot, Control Charts, Pareto chart, Scatter plot (or XY plot), Time series graph etc.
  • Lead Problem Solving and Develop Hypothesis to identify potential root causes of the problem using different techniques such as Fishbone, 5 Whys, Cause & effect matrix, FMEA etc. Confirm cause and effect relationship using different inferential statistical tools such as t-tests etc.
  • Build Lean | Full Business Cases & Benefit profiles in partnership with cross functional SMEs (incl. of RPA team & Finance).
  • Story Tell using a Value led narrative & Influence | leading (without authority) iCare - Senior Leadership, Leadership & Line Managers in understanding | driving operational excellence and building a lean | simplified business operations.
  • Thought Lead Process Design workshops (across departments) and implement new business processes that deliver on effective, efficient, measurable, sustainable & scalable outcomes (inclusive of good colleague and customer experience) whilst ensuring Controls are in place to minimize Operational Risk.
  • Lead the charge in New Ways of Thinking (Innovation) by thinking outside the box, challenging status quo, to deliver on service excellence, rich colleague experiences & high impact outcomes for Customers.
  • Lead & Orchestrate - Build, Maintain & Prioritisation of process re-engineering opportunities using a Value based framework.
  • Multi-tasking & adaptability: Manage multiple priorities and respond (pivot) when required in response to changing business priorities utilizing agile principles and data driven decision making.
  • Demonstrate Strategic Thinking: Thought lead corridor discussions, problem solving sessions, strategic reviews (discovery) using a Value led narrative and thinking near term, medium term and long term benefits.
  • Benefits Realization: Lead the partnership with Finance & other stakeholders to develop KPIs & track Benefits Realization.
  • Solutioning: Lead Problem solving efforts with X functional squads to design simplified, standardized & scalable processes.
  • Advocate & Promote: A culture of Continuous Improvement. The Simplification & Rationalization agenda.
  • People Leadership & Management: Develop colleagues (via ongoing coaching) to be “Future Emerging Leaders” driving change and purpose led impact.

Skills & Experience

  • Workshop facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Measuring, Analysing, Interrogating Process performance using different statistical tools as quoted above.
  • Working with Process Mapping & Management tools - Visio, Signavio.
  • Working with Process Mining tools such as Celonis, UIPath, Minit etc.
  • Building Business Cases & Tracking - Benefits Realization.
  • Influencing and leading without direct authority.
  • Qualification: Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
