About the role
BMD is in a significant growth phase in NT with a strong pipeline of projects in hand and as a result, we are looking for an Estimator to price a range of diverse civil infrastructure projects. With access to best in industry systems and software tools, you will collaborate with pre-contract teams and deliver exceptional winning civil infrastructure and urban development bids across Australia and the Asia Pacific region.
This role will be based in our Darwin office, estimating projects in;
- Land development – Residential and Industrial subdivisions
- Water/Sewer upgrades
- Road infrastructure for local councils and TMR
- Defence contracts
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years’ experience in the Civil Construction industry in estimating
- A mix of project and estimating experience is ideal
- First principle estimating experience
- Experience with the development of subcontractor work packages and review
- Exposure to Expert Estimation is desirable
