With a robust pipeline of work in hand for numerous master planned communities and large-scale infrastructure projects within the BMD Group in the defence, road/rail, renewable energy and the water sectors, the Empower team is inviting internal and external applications to fill multiple vacancies across all levels.

About the role

• Join a hard-working team focussed on delivering best for project outcomes through innovation, dedication and teamwork.
• This role is based out of our Townsville office and requires an adaptable, forward thinking engineer.
• Scope, produce and review completed design and documentation
• Prepare and deliver Engineering solutions to clients as per their project requirements
• Co-ordinate external consultants (Surveyors, Hydraulic Engineers etc.) for the incorporation of any required engineering inputs into designs
• Production of engineering and cost estimates
• Conduct internal audits of the company business management system

To be successful in this role, you will need

• Tertiary qualification in Civil / Structural Engineering.
• Experience in urban development, residential subdivision and infrastructure projects
• Experience in road design is essential
• Previous engineering/project manager experience 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
