About the role

Getting our people home safely to their families every day is our top priority, and your role is vital in influencing project teams to achieve our vision of HSEQ Excellence - “The BMD Way”.

We are currently seeking a HSEQ Administrator to be site based on a roadworks project in the Hunter Valley!

Comfortable working on site, you will be a natural relationship builder with excellent communication skills and strong technical ability to:

  • Engage and support our project team and workforce to champion use of our systems, client requirements and industry best practice.
  • Implementation of HSEQ standards and procedures.
  • Undertake audits, inspections and frontline engagements.
  • Contribute to risk workshops, communication forums and safety initiatives.
  • Contribute to work method statements, project plans and reviews.
  • Contribute to incident investigations and reviews.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Support training activities to build team capability.

The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:

  • Certificate IV in OSH/WHS (Diploma desirable)
  • Knowledge of current legislation, standards and industry requirements

You may also have the following additional desirable skills:

  • HLTPAT005 Collect Specimens for drugs of abuse training.
