About the role:
BMD is in a significant growth phase with a strong pipeline of projects in hand and as a result, we are seeking an experienced Pipeline Supervisor to join our high performing project team in Melbourne's South East. Working in collaboration with the Project Manager, you will work towards achieving excellent productivity and program outcomes. Your strong leadership and communication skills will build effective relationships across all levels of our projects, including with subcontractors and suppliers. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise site teams, subcontractors, and resources to achieve project outcomes
- Implement and enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards, conducting pre-start and toolbox meetings
- Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and council regulations
- Liaise with clients, council inspectors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Monitor project schedules, identify variations, and maintain accurate site records
- Ensure materials, subcontractors, and testing meet required standards before handover
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:
- Certificate III in Civil Construction (Certificate IV Civil Supervision is advantageous)
- Extensive civil construction background with demonstrated supervisory leadership experience
- Strong knowledge of construction drawings, specifications and local council requirements
- Excellent attitude towards health, safety, environmental and quality outcomes, embedding this commitment in everything you do
- Motivation to achieve value-for-money results to program
