About the Role
As the Quality Coordinator, you will liaise with the engineering and supervision teams on site, to ensure that best practice quality systems are put in place and maintained.
- Understand client requirements, including statutory and regulatory requirements for AS / NZ ISO 9001:2008 and take responsibility for their implementation
- Manage, access, review and change the quality control measures used onsite
- Ensure all contractual constraints with regard to quality issues are negotiated with subcontractors to ensure efficient compliance with the Quality Management Plan
- Develop draft NCRs with the engineering team and Quality Manager
- Issue reports of lot management and non-conformance's to the construction teams
- Contribute to and review documentation, including ITPs
The successful candidate will be a self-starter with:
- Tertiary qualification in engineering preferred
- Experience as an Auditor of Quality Management Systems - preferred.
- Awareness of relevant Australian and International standards, both technical and those related to management systems.
- Well-developed writing, communication, consultation and negotiating skills.
