About the Role
As Project Quality Manager, you’ll lead the implementation of quality systems and compliance across all phases of major infrastructure projects in Perth. Reporting to the Regional Quality & Systems Manager, you’ll drive continuous improvement, manage non-conformances, and foster a culture of quality and accountability. You’ll work closely with project teams, clients, and stakeholders to ensure delivery meets BMD, client, and ISO 9001 standards.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor, and empower project quality teams for successful outcomes
- Develop and maintain project Quality Management Plans and audit schedules
- Identify, document, and resolve non-conformances with corrective actions
- Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation initiatives
- Engage with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders to optimise project performance
- Prepare clear, accurate reports for clients and senior management
- Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and ISO standards
About you
Based in our Perth office, you’ll bring a collaborative mindset, technical expertise, and a passion for quality. You’ll have a strong background in quality management within the construction industry, with the ability to lead teams and manage multiple objectives in a dynamic environment.
What you’ll bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil, mechanical engineering, or related discipline
- 5+ years’ experience in quality management within construction
- Quality Lead Auditor (ISO 9001; ISO 14001/45001 desirable)
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 and compliance requirements in WA
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and manage risk
