What is great about the role?
Mill Street provides support to up to 12 individuals and you could be an influential part of their journey onto independent living. This is an exciting opportunity where no two days are the same and your influence is key. You will support to people to develop the skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability and to develop the skills to settle in the community and achieve positive progression. You will play a vital part in enabling people to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives.
Your day will consist of:
- Engaging and interacting with the people we support
- Delivering workshops relating to tenancy management and health & wellbeing
- Arranging and carrying out activities with the people we support to support them with their goals
- Managing the maintenance and health & safety of the scheme
- Addressing any additional needs, the people we support might have
Our motivation is to ensure we equip these individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to live independently. This is a challenging role and you will be faced with complex behaviours and needs, including alcohol misuse, mental health, substance misuse and offending behaviour. You will work with a range of different personalities and behaviours who may not always want to engage in the support we have on offer so you will need to be able to adapt your approach to engage with a diverse cliental.

- Competitive Salary of £23,376.60 FTE
- Full-time (37), Permanent position
- The successful candidate will need to be a Car owner with a current driving licence
- Shift Pattern: The scheme is covered 24 hours, 7 days a week so you would be expected to work on a 5-week rolling rota which would involve: day shifts, weekends & Waking nights.
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for
- 26 days (pro rata) holiday entitlement plus Bank holidays
