What is the role?
This is a service with a proven track record of success, helping individuals grow in confidence and develop the skills they need to live more independently. You’ll be supporting Four active and independent individuals who share a home in Chepstow. All the individuals we support have learning disabilities and are actively involved in their community, some even take part in paid work. It’s an inspiring and rewarding environment to be part of.
Duties Include:
- Supporting Individuals with their Individual needs.
- Supporting with individuals’ hobbies and activities.
- Encouraging and supporting with cleaning and administrative duties.
- Being able to bring fresh ideas to the team and implement different ways of working.
- Stock checking Individuals Medications and Finances.
- The individuals in this service are very active and have many outdoor interests. As their Support Worker you will be required to support them with these activities which will require a level of fitness.
What skills and experience do you need?
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided. More important are;
- A passion to work with and enable people to live as independent a life as possible
- An enthusiasm and passion for making a difference to people’s lives
- A strong initiative and ability to work alone as well as being a great team player

What are the pay and benefits?
- An hourly rate of £12.75 making the annual salary £24,531 (FTE)
- Sleep in rate - £62.64
