Job Purpose:

To support the new Operations Management System, the holder of this role will primarily be responsible for auditing Manufacturing procedures & processes. This will drive Built-in Quality, ensure QMS is ingrained into day to day thinking and ensuring that AML is always audit-ready.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

To deliver the requirements of the department in a correct, efficient and timely manner that includes

  • Carry out EASE process audits in Manufacturing and review outcomes cross functionally
  • Carry out Work Group Board audits
  • Review Kamishibai status using Beacon and interpret data to show where improvements are required
  • Carry out detailed control plan audits and check alignment with CoP control plans, EASE and 300 call process
  • Ensure any new model content for Manufacturing is available in EASE
  • Assist with internal audits, when required
  • Assist with External audits, when required

Qualification & Experience:

  • The ability to self-manage and work under pressure to deliver and thrive in an ever-changing dynamic environment
  • Problem solving experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite)
  • Internal and external audit experience
  • Experience in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Working knowledge of Lean principles
  • Working knowledge of Quality tools and techniques (control plans, PFMEAs etc..)
  • Experience applying standards to processes
  • Ability to analyse data sets and present findings to different levels of the business
  • Engineering HNC or equivalent
