🔩 Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical design and integration of ePowertrain components and subsystems, including HV batteries, cooling systems, enclosures, and structural mounts
  • Drive innovation in packaging, weight optimization, NVH (Noise, Vibration, Harshness) performance, and system modularity
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Electrical, Vehicle Dynamics, Manufacturing, and Testing to ensure seamless integration and reliable performance
  • Influence key design decisions at concept stage and carry technical ownership through development gateways to final sign-off
  • Analyse and resolve technical issues with legacy products, ensuring continued reliability and performance across the lifecycle
  • Champion engineering quality, process adherence, and cross-functional collaboration throughout program delivery

🧠 Your Profile

  • Degree-qualified in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or demonstrable equivalent industry experience
  • Extensive experience in high-voltage battery design, thermal management, and structural integration within automotive or closely related sectors
  • Deep knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, tolerance analysis, and DFM/DFA (Design for Manufacturing / Assembly) best practices
  • Proficient in Siemens NX or similar CAD tools
  • Strong problem-solving capability paired with creativity, resilience, and adaptability in a fast-paced development environment
  • Clear communicator with the confidence to lead technical reviews, present concepts, and influence stakeholders across departments
  • Collaborative spirit and the tenacity to drive projects forward in a dynamic team culture
