Responsibiltiies:

• Manage the distribution and processing of all safety reports relating to Ground, Cargo, and Occupational, Health and Safety (OHS)
• Distribute safety reports within the Corporate Safety Department (CSD) for risk classification, assessment, and investigation follow-up in the safety database (AQD)
• Liaise with Ground Operations (GOP, SDD), Cargo, and other relevant departments to coordinate OHS-related follow-up, investigation, and mitigation of all related safety reports
• Manage the AQD database, including data extraction, trend analysis, and safety performance indicator (SPI) monitoring
• Prepare meeting agendas, organize meetings, and produce meeting minutes for the Safety Committee
• Liaise with the Hong Kong Civil Aviation Department (HK CAD) for Mandatory Occurrence Report (MOR) review meeting minutes and agendas
• Deputize for the Manager, Corporate Safety (Ground, Cargo, and OHS) during their absence
• Perform any other duties assigned

Requirements: 

• At least 5 years of aviation experience working in safety, flight operations, or ground operations, with 2 years of experience in a similar role
• Tertiary education in a technical discipline, aircraft engineering, or commercial pilot license
• High level of proficiency in written and spoken English
• Experience in operational risk assessment and management
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
• Formal training in aviation safety
• Knowledge and experience in aviation safety databases (AQD)
