Responsible for the Sales & Marketing of our international cargo business includes leading customer and business development activities, drive to increase volume in belly cargo sales and managing a range of key account clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Formulate and allocate annual sales targets and key performance indicators for Hong Kong Airlines’ belly-hold cargo business;
  • Monitor and supervise the implementation of annual cargo sales strategies, collaborating with internal stakeholders and customers;
  • Closely monitor the daily performance of sales performance, taking timely corrective actions to ensure sales targets are met;
  • Oversee the management of inventory levels to ensure smooth cargo operations;
  • Analyze the international air freight market, including freight rates and sales channels in different countries and regions to develop appropriates sales strategies and proposals to maximize cargo revenue;
  • Proactively initiate changes to enhance service levels and productivity in response to dynamic market conditions; and
  • Generate comprehensive reports to closely monitor and regularly review cargo business performance.

 

Requirements  

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in business-related majors;
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in air freight or aviation industry;
  • Strong data analysis skills are required;
  • Experience and skills in contract management and project management is preferred;
  • Strong business negotiation abilities and skills;
  • Strong ability to collaborate and work as part of a team;
  • Ability to work under pressure; and
  • Good command of written English and Chinese, fluent in spoken English and Cantonese, Putonghua is required as well.
