Responsibilities 

• Handling commercial and operational contracts, corporate finance, securities, aviation finance, M&A and commercial transactions, including drafting, reviewing and participating in negotiations of commercial and transaction agreements
• Providing professional legal advice and recommendations on legal terms to protect the company interest
• Providing legal support to protect the commercial as well as reputational interests of the company and to ensure that risks are properly managed
• Advising on operational, administrative, regulatory, employment and contentious matters, when required
• Working with external counsel, company secretary, paralegal and professional advisers
• Performing such other functions to be assigned by supervisor

Requirements 

• LLB or above (from Hong Kong or other common law jurisdictions)
• Qualified lawyer with 3 years of relevant experience in handling commercial and corporate transactions
• Preferably with anti-trust filing experiences
• Preferably with in-house working experience and worked for aviation and consumer goods companies
• Must be well versed with preparing and reviewing various commercial agreements, and must have strong experience in handling general commercial matters.
• Possesses strong communication and analytical skills
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese. Ability to speak in Putonghua will be an advantage
• A proactive team player, with can-do attitude and able to work independently under high pressure and tight timeframe
• Exceptional organizational skills, attention to details, mature attitude and ability of multi-tasking
