In this role, you will manage and develop the commercial relationships with the Travel Management Companies in Canada.

You will lead complex negotiations for new TMC incentive deals or renewals in partnership with head office stakeholders in order to achieve the revenue growth, manage the marketing funds, effectively navigate the structure within the TMC, formulate sales and negotiation strategies to achieve revenue and traffic growth, You will deliver revenue targets for the assigned portfolio of accounts through strategic and tactical efforts including but not limited to, contract negotiation and implementation, account support and service and the responsible management of all facets of agency point of sale and back-end incentive programs.

Responsibilities

  • Providing strategic account development and management to all nationally designated Corporate, Travel Management Companies and Agencies in Canada
  • Delivering revenue targets for the TMC / Corporate and Retail Agency channels
  • Liaising between Canada/USA and Headquarters on any global/regional accounts
  • Prospecting and pipeline management / cross project management
  • Delivering revenue targets for assigned portfolio of accounts through strategic and tactical efforts
  • Serving as the primary liaison between field sales, pricing, business development, head office counterparts and other departments as necessary ensuring the top revenue opportunities are appropriately prioritized
  • Maintaining and extending relationships with Travel Trade, Business Associations and various Tourism offices
  • Providing field sales coverage on assigned territory, supporting other account managers on other distribution channel when needed

Requirements

  • 5 years or above working experience in the Aviation/Airlines sales field and must have managed the Top TMCs
  • Proving record of revenue delivery, be highly numerate, analytical and data driven
  • Working knowledge on MS office, familiar with Travelsky or/and GDS (Sabre, Amadeus) system
  • Sales oriented and self-motivated
  • Strong organizational, time management, ability to multi-task, work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • A team player, excellent interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English, second language in French an asset
  • Candidate with less experience will be considered as Sales Executive
