About Your Role
Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Risk and Compliance Advisor to work within our Strategy and Impact Division. This role is part-time 0.8 FTE.
Reporting to the Head of Risk, Compliance and Assurance, this role will be supporting the business to achieve its strategic and operational objectives for Risk Management and Compliance.
Your Key Focus
Harness this incredible opportunity for you to develop your career and learn new skills within a high performing team by:
- Engaging, supporting and collaborating within the business to help improve compliance and risk management practices and outcomes
- Supporting the update and implementation of Scope’s compliance and risk management policies, procedures and tools
- Checking that controls related to compliance obligations and risks are effective and that control improvements are implemented
- Helping to prepare timely, succinct and accurate compliance and risk management reports for management, the executive and the board
What We Look For
- Experience in understanding of risks and the broad range of compliance requirements within the Disability and/ or Community sector
- Ability to provide guidance on matters relation to risk management and compliance
- Understanding of the application of risk management and compliance processes and systems
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Commerce, Compliance and/ or Corporate Governance
