About the Role

Join our Accommodation Services team in the North East Metro region as an Operations Manager (DDSO5) in this exciting Fixed-Term, Full-Time opportunity. 

This role will be responsible for leading an area of residential services, managing employees and supporting our customers. 

This is a highly rewarding role working for an organisation that supports people with a disability in an inclusive and individualised way. 

Position Details

  • Total hours per Fortnight: 76

About You 

  • Proven leadership experience in the disability or community sector, with a strong focus on team development, accountability, and delivering person-centred support. 
  • Excellent professional communication skills – both written and verbal – with the ability to engage respectfully and effectively across internal teams and external stakeholders. 
  • A genuine approach to connect, motivate, and lead teams through change and growth. 
  • A proactive approach to client acquisition, intake, and retention, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for new and existing clients. 
  • A hands-on leadership style – this is a non-hybrid role, fortnightly (minimum) site visits are mandatory  
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting individuals with behaviours of concern, with a strong understanding of positive behaviour support in practice. 
  • Confidence and skill in leading through change, navigating challenges while keeping your team engaged and focused. 
  • A collaborative mindset, with the ability to build strong partnerships with enabling functions to support operational and strategic goals. 
  • An Advanced Diploma of Disability (or equivalence) is required for this role
