The Role

Our 24 bed Surgical Ward 2A at John Flynn Private Hospital is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic and friendly team! The Ward is predominantly orthopaedic, with general surgery, spinal surgery and chronic pain management.

In this role you will have access to an outstanding working environment, modern facilities, innovative education programs and a supportive management team.

 

Your Key Skills and Experience

  • Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Minimum (3) years post graduate experience in an acute hospital
  • Experience working in Orthopaedics/Surgical Nursing
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
  • Proven ability to act as a positive role model and as a professional at all times
  • Postgraduate qualification(s) desirable or working towards same

 

Remuneration:  On offer is an hourly rate ranging from $54.72 - $58.82 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (QLD Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
