About the Role

The Intensive Care Unit of Peninsula Private Hospital is a busy 11-bedded Unit admitting in excess of 1500 patients annually. The unit has a predominantly post-operative case mix with a wide variety of patients including complex Cardio-thoracic, upper GI, Neurosurgical patients, and Orthopaedic patients.

We are seeking applications from a candidate with critical care experience interested in becoming part of our busy and dynamic department.

 

About You

  • Applicants must be at least 4 years postgraduate with experience in critical care (ICU, Anaesthetics or ED).
  • Hold unconditional AHPRA Registration (essential)
  • Be available for flexible shift work over a 7-day roster (12-hour shifts)
  • ALS / CALS certification (desirable)
  • Must hold additional private indemnity insurance (Ramsay will provide employee indemnity on top).

Peninsula Private Hospital is a comprehensive 344 bed acute emergency, surgical, medical, cardiac and obstetric facility located in the bayside town of Frankston in Melbourne's southeastern suburbs. The hospital currently accommodates a 14-bay emergency department, 226 medical and surgical, 36 cardiac, 11 ICU, 7 Neonatal, 14 Obstetric, and 30 Oncology beds which include 15 day infusion chairs. As a fully accredited health care facility we offer the highest standards of clinical care, patient service, and technology.

Requirements

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
