The Opportunity
Ramsay Health Care is seeking an experienced business development professional to lead our specialist recruitment, retention and growth support activities, as part of the expansion of Joondalup Private Hospital, with the opening of a state-of-the-art $190 million development in early 2026.
This new facility will significantly increase our capacity and enable us to offer enhanced services to our patients.
In this pivotal role, you will focus on attracting top medical specialists in targeted specialties to work at Joondalup Private and increasing patient volume and revenue. This will involve market research, strategy development, lead generation, and fostering relationships with healthcare professionals.
Your efforts will directly contribute to the success of our new facilities and the overall growth of our hospital.
Reporting to the National Growth and Marketing Manager, this role will work closely with the Private Hospital General Manager to deliver on business targets.
Key Skills and Experience
To succeed in this role, you must be a dynamic and self-driven professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with medical specialists. You must also demonstrate:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the healthcare sector
- In-depth understanding of medical specialists and the roles of different healthcare professionals
- A proactive and results-oriented approach to achieving sales targets
- Experience in using data and research to identify new business opportunities
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport and trust with medical specialists
- Experience in lead generation, conversion, and onboarding
- Proficiency in using CRM systems to track performance and identify areas for improvement
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment
- Open driver’s licence and own vehicle
- Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours as required
Desirable
- Post graduate qualification in Business and/or Health Management.

Requirements
- Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
- According to the role, proof of immunisation against infectious diseases may be required.
