We are looking for multiple experienced Operators to join Active’s Major Projects team getting involved in large scale construction projects delivering critical infrastructure across Australia.

What is the role?

This role will see you operate varying all-terrain forestry equipment safely and effectively, providing support to our Major Projects Division with the large-scale vegetation clearance programs of our clients.  These projects are complex, involve industrial scale machinery and as such the highest commitment to safety, delivery and environmental/quality standards must be adhered to.  You will be well supported by a strong, professional and experienced team.

You will be responsible for:

• Safe and efficient operation of varying all-terrain forestry equipment
• Ensuring compliance of safe work practices, policies and procedures
• Conducting workplace inspections of all relevant work areas in line with SWMS
• Providing clear and effective communication and JSA completion
• Supporting the team to achieve delivery and productivity requirements
• Ensuring adherence to environmental and quality requirements

Experience in a “projects” environment would be advantageous but not essential.

• HC truck licence or equivalent (highly regarded)
• Excavator ticket – RIIMPO0320 (Conduct Civil Construction Excavator Operations)
• Loader ticket – RIIMPO0321 (Conduct Civil Construction Wheeled Front End Loader)
