What we are looking for:
Affinity Education is seeking a Quality Advisor to support and enhance operational standards across a group of early childhood services. This role focuses on assessing quality, compliance, processes, and business management while providing guidance and coaching to improve performance and strengthen key areas.
The role:
- Conduct quality assessments across services, ensuring compliance with the National Quality Standards and AEG’s balanced scorecard standards
- Provide recommendations to enhance operational performance and meet National Quality Framework requirements
- Use reporting tools to evaluate quality outcomes and deliver data-driven insights
- Identify and support training needs for centre managers and service teams
- Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Coach and mentor leaders to drive continuous improvement and best practices
- Stay up to date with sector trends in leadership, coaching, and mentoring
- Represent AEG as a guest speaker at Centre Manager meetings when required
- Ensure professional communication and contribute to process improvements
- Support policy and procedural enhancements to improve quality outcomes
- Plan and schedule assessments, audits, and coaching sessions to support team development
- Participate in team, state, and national meetings, including AEG conferences
- Collaborate with leadership teams to drive quality and compliance initiatives
- Promote best practices in early childhood education, business performance, and team development
- Follow all AEG policies, including the Code of Conduct and professional standards
- Commit to ongoing learning and professional development opportunities
Skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or equivalent).
- Experience in internal auditing, coaching, and assessment.
- Strong understanding of ACECQA requirements and compliance standards.
- Current Working with Children Check and Driver’s Licence.
- Qualifications in ISO auditing, management or training & assessment desirable.
- Experience as a Centre Manager or in a field assessor role.
- Knowledge of a childcare software such as Storypark Manage and CCMS desirable.
