What we are looking for:
This position is responsible for supporting both the external acquisition and the internal support to our people. As part of this responsibility, you will assist with onboarding and general administration/co-ordination of tasks.
The role:
- Prepare and place job advertisements across various platforms
- Complete Talent Search using Page Up and Seek Talent Search to identify suitable candidates for vacant roles
- Conduct pre-employment checks such as reference checks, visa verification, WWCC linking and validation and national police checks
- Keep Centre Managers (CMs) up to date on vacancy status and progress
- Maintain the recruitment management system and HR information system
- Track/monitor new hires and internal promotions to ensure successful probation is achieved
- Monitor placement guarantees of new agency hires to ensure guarantees are utilised where there is turnover within 3 months of hire
- Attend regular team meetings to update stakeholders on status
- Complete employment contracts, contract variations, and letters of offer
- Assist in the management of the Talent Inbox
- Answer phone calls and transfer calls to the respective coordinator/specialist based on urgency
- Complete Purchase Orders via Coupa
- Provide administrative support on an as-needed basis
Skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:
- Bachelor in Human Resources Management or related field or equivalent level of experience, training, and education.
- Ability to obtain a Working with Children Check or Blue Card
- 12 months minimum experience in a talent support/recruitment administration role
- Experience in understanding and interpreting awards and regulatory requirements
- Experience communicating professionally with various stakeholders
- Experience in a service-related industry within a large organisation, ECEC highly regarded
- Able to competently use a Recruitment Management System and Human Resource Management system
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage competing workloads and priorities.
- A positive and friendly demeanour with a strong customer service focus.
- Ability to maintain excellent working relationships.
- Collaborative team player.
- High attention to detail.
- Adaptability and flexibility to changing work environments and requirements.
Permanent Full-time position, Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week.
