About the Centre:

Welcome to Papilio Sherwood, we are open from 6.15am - 6.15pm, Monday to Friday and cater for children from 0 - 5 years.

Conveniently located on Oxley Road, Papilio Early Learning Sherwood offers nurturing, high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5 years. Our centre is a welcoming place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn - guided by a team of passionate educators who genuinely love what they do.

Each day at Papilio Sherwood is filled with discovery and growth. Our thoughtfully designed indoor and outdoor learning spaces are tailored to support play-based learning, helping children explore their interests, develop new skills, and build meaningful friendships. With a strong focus on school readiness, we help children gain the confidence and capabilities they need for a smooth transition to primary school.

About the Role

• Motivate and lead a team of educators in the Kindy room.
• Develop a lifelong love of learning through child-led enquiries, connections to our local primary school and positive experiences within our community.
• Design, implement and evaluate educational programs for our children, allowing for the unique and individual interests and strengths of each child.
• Support the centre to Meet/Exceed the National Quality Standards.

 About You

• An Early Childhood Degree or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification
• Relevant teachers’ registration (if applicable)
• A current Working with Children’s Check or willing to obtain
• Current first aid certificate (including asthma and anaphylactic training) or willing to obtain
• A strong commitment to fostering the growth and development of young minds
