Through innovation, applied research leading to new technologies, support for inventors and entrepreneurs and workforce development, the QuantumCT Engine will advance quantum sensing, secured communications, computing, and materials through shared test bed, deep-tech incubator, and translation pathways. Reporting to the Director of Technology Incubation & Venture Development in Technology Commercialization Services, this position will oversee and support the operational and technical management of the quantum technology incubator. This includes overseeing the day-to-day technical operations, maintaining specialized infrastructure, and serving as a resource for startups, helping them navigate facility use, equipment training, and compliance with safety protocols. He/she will design protocols for lab and equipment usage, establish preventative maintenance schedules for mission-critical infrastructure, maintain compliance with relevant industry standards for quantum research environments, and be a liaison between Quantum CT startups and collaborators.
