The Department of Extension, New Haven County, a part of the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources, at the University of Connecticut, in collaboration with the Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station (CAES) seeks applicants for a full time Visiting Assistant Extension Educator, 11-month position. This person will focus on 4-H youth development specifically in the areas of food, agriculture and natural resources literacy in New Haven County. State and multi-state programming may be expected. Additionally, this position will plan, deliver, and evaluate school-based programs to increase youth STEM knowledge and skills. The Visiting Assistant Extension Educator will report to the Department of Extension Head and will be based in North Haven, Connecticut.

Under the direction of the Director of Simulation Education , the faculty members will have the following responsibilities: supervise pre-licensure students in simulations, provide fundamentals teaching support, provide skills labs instruction, develop simulation scenarios, set up labs and simulations, post-lab cleanup, monitor simulation and lab inventory and supplies, supervise open labs for student practice, provide simulation/clinic completion and continuous improvement plans and augment support and training for the adjunct clinical faculty in the use of s simulations and the Simulation Center.

Clinical Veterinarian in UConn Storrs
This full-time position is primarily clinical, providing veterinary care and veterinary services in support of the organization’s research mission. The Clinical Veterinarian will provide daily support to diagnose, treat, and manage clinical cases identified in the research colonies; assist with disease surveillance and prevention programs; participate in various activities to ensure compliance with regulations and guidelines; and assist the Director with administration and management of the animal care and use program. In addition, the successful candidate will provide professional service primarily in the areas of anesthesia and surgery and will oversee post-operative care of animals in support of specific research programs.
