The Football Staff Assistant (Part-Time) supports the daily operations of the Virginia Tech Football program, contributing to recruiting, player personnel, creative, and administrative functions. This role provides experience in a fast-paced, high-level environment and assists full-time staff in executing key initiatives in compliance with NCAA and conference regulations.

Required Qualifications

Strong interest in college football operations and recruiting
High attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency with Microsoft Office; familiarity with recruiting/creative tools is a plus
Willingness to work nights, weekends, and extended hours during peak periods.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in a Division I Football program
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress (sports management, communications, or related field preferred)
Operational familiarity with recruiting software (e.g., ARMS, Front Rush)
Basic experience with creative tools (Adobe Creative Suite, social media platforms)
