Working Title:  Program Coordinator, High-Impact Practices & Community Engagement
Job Summary: The Senior Coordinator of High-Impact Practices (HIPs) & Community Engagement supports the coordination and implementation of key university-wide community engagement and HIP initiatives. This position is responsible for facilitating committees, administering grant and recognition programs, coordinating institutional reporting processes, and collaborating with faculty, staff, and community partners to support student success and university priorities.

Minimum Qualifications: Masters degree in an appropriate area of specialization with one year of relevant experience or a Bachelors degree in an appropriate area of specialization with three years of relevant experience.
Position Qualifications: Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with, develop, and sustain relationships with students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders. Experience with budget management, grant administration, and technology platforms. Familiarity with performance-based funding models in higher education. Have the ability to interpret, analyze, and process various forms of data effectively.
Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills, along with the ability to effectively engage and maintain relationships with students, faculty, staff, and other stakeholders. Experience with budget management, grant administration, and the use of technology platforms to support program coordination is highly desirable. Familiarity with performance-based funding models in higher education is preferred, as is the ability to interpret, analyze, and apply data to inform decision-making and assess program effectiveness.
Essential Functions / Job Duties:
  • 45% - Program Coordination & Administration: -Coordinate the HIP grant process, including administration, application review, and funding decision documentation. -Administer the HIP designation process in collaboration with the HIP Oversight Committee. -Coordinate the HIP Scholarship and HIP Awards programs. -Track expenditures and assist with budget planning for HIP and community engagement activities. -Compile and submit reports related to HIPs and community engagement, including data for performance-based funding and annual reports. -Support implementation of QEP initiatives in partnership with the QEP Director. - (Essential)
  • 45% - Collaboration & Involvement: -Collaborate with faculty and staff to support and promote HIPs across the institution. -Coordinate professional development opportunities related to HIPs. -Schedule and facilitate HIP Liaison and HIP Oversight Committee meetings. -Coordinate the Community Engagement Coordinating Committee and assist in developing strategies for strengthening university-community partnerships. -Assist in efforts to streamline institutional internship coordination and reporting. - (Essential)
  • 10% - Marketing & Technology: -Assist with managing departmental social media, newsletters, and website updates to promote HIPs, community engagement, and related initiatives. -Coordinate technology-related tools and platforms used to track, evaluate, and promote HIP and community engagement activities. -Contribute to the development of resources and promotional materials that highlight student, faculty, and community impact. - (Essential)
