This individual serves on the leadership team of the Dean of Students Office and as such will serve the university in various capacities related to students. This individual will need to be committed to a non-adversarial, educational, and learning-based conduct philosophy and ensure that all educational programs, sanctions and hearings reinforce the overall concept of student development. Responsible for managing heavy caseload of approximately 300 or more cases per year.

Significant networking and alliance building with community partners including Economic Development Agencies, Chambers of Commerce, and other community organizations for the purpose of building client service base. Must be able to work both independently and collaboratively. This position requires successful completion of annual professional development hours. This position will regularly work evenings attending meetings and events. During declared campus emergencies, this position may be required to perform specific job related duties at a designated off-campus location or place of residence. In accordance with UWF Human Resources Policy HR-20.02-09/15, Recruitment, Selection, and Appointment, a time-limited appointment is a position funded by contract and grant, auxiliary, or local fund, for a project for a specific period. A time-limited position shall have the same rights as a regular position except that the position is not entitled to notice of separation at the expiration of the appointment and shall not have layoff and recall rights.
