About BaptistCare Bethshan Gardens Aged Care Facility

Wyee is a picturesque town in the Lake Macquarie region of New South Wales, surrounded by lakes, close to beaches and near the Sydney-Newcastle Freeway. Bethshan Gardens consists of 134 beds.

About the role

BaptistCare Niola Centre is seeking a Laundry Assistant on a permanent part-time basis to deliver laundry services to our residents. You will enjoy working in a team who are committed and being able make a difference in the lives of our residents.

Shifts on offer: 60 hours per fortnight 6:30am - 1pm, 5 days per week.

Duties may include:

  • Laundry duties
  • Sorting & folding linen
  • Working to achieve and maintain a high standard of cleanliness.

About you

The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys interacting with older people and has the right heart and drive to serve.

Previous experience in laundry along with understanding of work health and safety practices will be an advantage. You can also work unsupervised and take on physically demanding tasks.

Willingness to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check or provide current NDIS Worker screening clearance is a requirement for this role.
