About the Role:

We are seeking a Therapy and Leisure Partner to join our team in Brookton. In this role, you will play an important part in promoting the physical and emotional well-being of residents by partnering with them to engage in meaningful daily activities. You will work closely with the allied health team to support residents in maintaining their functional abilities, while encouraging them to use and develop their skills in ways that are personally meaningful. You will be expected to follow residents' care plans and provide person-centred support during therapeutic activities. Additionally, you’ll help ensure all practices are safe and comply with Work Health and Safety policies, and you will also encourage and support family involvement in the daily life of their loved one.

Why Join Us?

At BaptistCare, we value our employees and foster a positive, inclusive work environment. We offer competitive salaries, tax-free salary packaging, discounted gym memberships, and novated car leasing. Benefit from our health and wellbeing initiatives, including free counselling, spiritual support, and nutrition advice. Advance your career with study assistance up to $3000 per year and access to learning and development programs and courses like LinkedIn Learning!

About you:

You bring a genuine commitment to providing a customer-centric approach and thrive in a collaborative, flexible team environment. While experience working with dementia clients and supporting residents in leisure and therapeutic activities is preferred, it’s not essential. A Certificate III in Allied Health is desirable but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills are important in this role, as is the ability to connect meaningfully with residents and their families to support person-centred care.
