Your Role

As a Paralegal, you’ll work closely with senior lawyers and the Company Secretary to support a wide range of legal and governance functions. This is your chance to apply your legal knowledge in a real-world setting—preparing documents, conducting legal research, opening matter files, and even attending board meetings.

What You’ll Learn & Do

Legal Support

• Draft and proofread legal documents
• Review and summarise contracts and legal materials
• Conduct legal research and summarise findings
• Prepare correspondence, and court files
• Respond to Court subpoenas
• Attend meetings as needed
• Maintain legal schedules and assist with reporting (including team reports)

Governance Support

• Draft agendas and compile Board papers
• Attend Board meetings and take minutes
• Assist in preparing governance documentation

About you

• A 3rd or 4th year law student at an Australian university
• Completed core law subjects (contracts, torts, property)
• Strong communication and research skills
• A keen eye for detail and a proactive attitude
• Previous paralegal experience is a plus, but not essential
