Roster available:
Week 1 - Tuesday Night shift 10.30pm - 7.15am
Thursday AM shift 7am - 3pm
Week 2 - Thursday AM shift 7am - 3pm
About the team
Located in the historic town of York, Balladong Gardens is a welcoming aged care home offering quality accommodation and personalised care. Residents enjoy beautifully landscaped gardens, inviting communal spaces, and a strong sense of community that includes retirement living and home care services.
About the Role
Working closely with residents, their families and the multidisciplinary team, the Registered Nurse leads the assessment of the strengths and needs of individual residents and the development of individualised, person‑centred support that promotes physical and emotional wellbeing.
This position provides direct clinical care in accordance with scope of practice, and oversees the delivery of clinical and allied health services for residents, including guidance to clinical and care staff. The Registered Nurse coordinates and has leadership responsibilities for all resident care and works closely with the Clinical Manager in the identification of evidence‑based best practice and quality initiatives across the facility.

About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent
-
Current AHPRA registration
-
Experience in clinical leadership and team collaboration
-
Strong understanding of Aged Care Quality Standards

Excellent communication and emergency response skills
-
Effective time management and organisational abilities
