About the role 

As the Coordinator – Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS), you will coordinate the delivery of the program, working closely with our Senior Coordinator and key community partners. 

You will recruit, support and guide volunteer visitors, match them thoughtfully with care recipients, and foster strong relationships with Residential Aged Care Facilities and community organisations. Your work will help reduce social isolation and strengthen connections where they are needed most. 

What you will be doing 

  • Coordinating the ACVVS program in Metropolitan South West region including the Peel region. 

  • Recruiting, inducting, supporting and recognising volunteer visitors 

  • Matching volunteers with aged care residents and supporting those relationships 

  • Administrative tasks (Data entry , Scheduling)  

  • Building strong partnerships with Residential Aged Care Facilities and community groups 

  • Providing guidance, education and regular check ins for volunteers 

  • Maintaining accurate records and contributing to reporting requirements

About you 

You are a warm, engaging communicator who thrives on building relationships and making a difference. You are comfortable working autonomously, while also being a collaborative and supportive team member. 

You will bring: 

  • Experience coordinating volunteers or community programs 

  • Strong relationship building and stakeholder engagement skills 

  • A genuine passion for supporting older people and volunteers 

  • Data entry, administration and scheduling experience  

  • A current Australian driver’s licence and right to work 

  • Alignment with BaptistCare’s Purpose, Promise and Values 

Experience in aged care, volunteer management systems or community partnerships will be highly regarded, but most important is your heart for service and connection.
