Applications are invited for appointment as Research Assistant I in the School of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science (Ref.: 534667), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

Requirements

Applicants should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Structural Biology, or a related discipline. Proficiency in English, along with strong collaborative communication skills, is essential. The applicant should have high motivation and a strong interest in cryo-EM methodology, nanomaterials, and structural analysis of biological systems. The appointee will assist in research projects focused on integrating nanomaterials with cryo-EM for structural analysis and methodology development. Experience with basic molecular biology, protein biochemistry, or electron microscopy techniques is highly desirable.
