The Opportunity

Reporting to the Microinjection Manager, the Research Officer will provide a variety of services to support the World Mosquito Program (WMP). The Research Officer will assist with rearing and preparing mosquitos and will be an excellent communicator and an effective member of a small team.

As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for supporting the production of mosquito eggs ready for their microinjection with Wolbachia, supporting technical staff to deliver on project requirements and complying with established research methodology, policies and protocols.

Ideally with a degree in science or biological science, you will have experience working with living organisms, skills to adapt to changes in work plans and priorities and highly developed communication skills.
