The Opportunity

The Department of Pharmacology is one of five Departments of the School of Biomedical Sciences. Its goal is to advance both education and research in the field of pharmacology at every level from the molecule to the cell through to the integrative response at the whole animal level.

A Level C academic is expected to make significant contributions to the teaching effort of a department, school, faculty or other organisational unit or an interdisciplinary area. An academic at this level is also expected to play a major role in scholarship, research and/or professional activities.

The appointee will have a recognised university PhD degree in pharmacology, or related discipline, with relevant postdoctoral experience. Applicants who can envision a strategic alignment with the VHH are welcome to apply.

This role is a full-time position; however, flexible working arrangements may be negotiated.

At Monash University, we are committed to being a Child Safe organisation. This position at the University will require the incumbent to hold a valid Working with Children Check.

Your application must address the selection criteria. Please refer to "How to apply for Monash Jobs".
