The Opportunity
The Neural Systems and Behaviour Lab is seeking to appoint a Research Officer to support the delivery of high-quality research services and contribute to the advancement of a broad range of projects, strategies and initiatives within the group. The role also provides executive-level administrative and logistical support to the Lab Head, research staff and students, while ensuring effective operational procedures are maintained and the research office operates in a compliant and safe manner.
This position is integral to the successful delivery of the ARC Laureate Fellowship, providing hands-on support for data-intensive research activities. It will contribute to the curation and processing of UK Biobank data and assist in developing an integrated software environment that enables robust analysis across multiple tools. The role also supports data processing for collaborative projects such as the ENIGMA consortium, and contributes to funding and ethics applications as well as the administrative and regulatory functions that underpin high-quality research outcomes.
We are seeking someone with a relevant tertiary qualification, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to meet deadlines with precision. The role also requires strong analytical and technical capabilities, a solid understanding of research and administrative processes and effective project management skills.
