Southern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking passionate, talented, and caring Clinical Nurse to join our dynamic teams. Come contribute to meaningful mental health outcomes for our community.

The Specialist Community Mental Health Team Support helps people with their own goals and assisting with the development of skills to improve daily living.

About the Role:

As the Clinical Nurse, your duties can include: 

  • Providing proficient, person centred, clinical nursing care and individual case management to patients
  • Monitoring patient care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis
  • Planning and coordinating other health services
  • Participating in clinical teaching, overseeing learning experiences. and goal setting for students, new staff and staff with less experience

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate
  • Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
  • At least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in mental health nursing practice
  • Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
