We are recruiting for experienced Occupational Therapy Service Managers to work across the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), providing clinical services within acute, sub-acute/rehabilitation, mental health, community and ambulatory settings.  We work in collaboration with consumers of the local CALHN community as well as country people admitted to hospitals via the State-wide Clinical services (SA Spinal Cord Injury, Brain Injury, Renal and Burns Services).

CALHN OT is committed to quality improvement, evidence-based practice, the ongoing development of staff, clinical research and the teaching and training of occupational therapy and related students.  We have a dynamic department with a strong focus on innovation, growth and development, evidence-based practice, and translation into practice.  

As a Senior Manager Occupational Therapy, your role will involve:

  • Being a recognized clinical expert in Occupational Therapy and contributing to operational goals.
  • Working across sites, providing strategic and operational input, ensuring evidence-based service delivery, managing human resources, and complying with policies.
  • Leading quality improvement initiatives, accessing professional training, and supporting research and workforce development aligned with health reforms.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders, contributing to strategic plans, and overseeing clinical supervision and supporting staff within the Occupational Therapy department under the guidance of the Director.
