About the Role

A great opportunity is available for multiple Registered Nurses/Clinical Nurses to join our dedicated team within Waikerie Health Service, in providing professional high quality nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes.

A Registered Nurse (RN/M1) primary role is to provide direct person-centred nursing care and/or individual case management to patients/clients on a shift-by-shift basis in a defined clinical area with increasing autonomy over time.

A Clinical Nurse (RN/M2C) role continues to be predominantly clinical in nature; however employees are assigned appropriate portfolios.  The allocation of portfolio responsibilities should be negotiated with each employee and be consistent with the career development plan for the employee as determined by their performance review/development plan.


Eligibility

Please note that as this position is multi-classed as either an RN/M1 or RN/M2C, the classification will be determined by qualifications and experience.

All applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

To be considered for the higher classification RN/M2C, applicants must also have at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.

Location

Waikerie Health Service provides acute services ranging from in-hospital care for adults and children by local general practitioners to obstetrics, outpatients and aged care beds. The services available include accident and emergency, hospital services, maternity & obstetrics and aged care service.

This is a multiple positions part time vacancy, hours to be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
