Overview

The Deputy Home Support Coordinator assists the Home Support Coordinator Mount Gambier with the day to day coordination of the Home Support Program on the Mount Gambier site. You will provide leadership to a work team through orientation, performance development and ongoing support to staff members’ and contractors, and maintain a high standard of customer relations with clients, carers and family members.

This is a part time vacancy, working 37.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

About you

  • Proven ability to co ordinate service provision
  • Proven ability to work with limited supervision, in a supervisory role and as a member of the team
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate with staff at all levels, with members of the public, with clients and their families and with staff from other organizations
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing client need and developing/planning individual care programs
  • Demonstrated experience working with community based clients and their families
