About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Physiotherapy Department as a Physiotherapist in the Orthopaedic Unit, where you will be responsible for:

• Delivering high-quality, safe, and effective Physiotherapy intervention to children with complex orthopaedic & musculoskeletal conditions.
• Managing acute inpatients and outpatients.
• Providing therapy for burns, hand therapy, brachial plexus, rheumatology, haemophilia, and hydrotherapy as required.
• Contribute to the overall operations of the orthopaedic physiotherapy unit teaching and training of staff and students

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• At least 2 years’ physiotherapy experience in inpatient and outpatient paediatric orthopaedic and musculoskeletal areas.
• Well-developed clinical skills in the physiotherapy management of complex paediatric orthopaedic and musculoskeletal conditions.
• Ability to communicate effectively to a range of staff and consumers on sensitive and complex issues
• Experience in the supervision and teaching of staff and students
