Overview

A fantastic leadership opportunity is available for an Associate Nurse Unit Manager - Aged Care to join our dedicated team in helping improve the quality of life of the residents/clients of our residential aged care facility.

As a Registered Nurse, you will provide nursing services in a variety of health service settings.  As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will provide support to the Nurse Unit Manager in the leadership of nurses/staff in providing proficient, person centred, clinical nursing and/or individual case management to residents/clients in residential aged care.

Eligibility

Applicants must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.

Extensive experience in providing aged care service, including working with individuals/carers who have dementia or mental health problems and their families and experience in management and leadership where you have supervised student nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
