We are seeking dedicated and skilled Occupational Therapists to join our dynamic Subacute Services team in the Adelaide Metro Region!

About the Role: 

As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in promoting independence, enhancing quality of life, and facilitating functional recovery for individuals in our rehabilitation, geriatric or palliative care services. Your expertise will be invaluable in assessing patients' needs, developing tailored intervention plans, and providing comprehensive therapeutic interventions. In these roles, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, fostering a compassionate and patient-centred approach to care. You will liaise with other health professionals, service providers and the community to facilitate the safe and timely discharge, and improved independence and occupational outcomes for patients. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to build trusting relationships with patients and their families, ensuring their needs and goals are at the forefront of every intervention.

About you: 

  • A degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia
  • Ability to undertake assessment and intervention with patients with a range of illness and disabilities relevant to older people and rehabilitation. 
  • Ability to provide clinical services as a member of a multi-disciplinary team, and communicate with patients and a range of professional and other staff. 
  • High level organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines, delegate appropriately and demonstrate initiative.
