The Role

Join our team as a Security/Orderly Officer and step into a dynamic role where you will blend security expertise with compassionate patient care. In this pivotal position, you’ll be integral to the smooth operation of our Health Unit, utilizing the latest methods, materials, and equipment to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

Your security responsibilities will involve engaging with clients to uphold the safety and well-being of everyone, strictly following our hospital’s policies and procedures. You’ll also have the opportunity to showcase your skills in managing and de-escalating challenging situations, contributing to a supportive environment for both staff and patients.

Essential Criteria

  • Must have a current South Australian Security Agent Licence.
  • Demonstrated experience in security roles.
  • Proven ability to defuse aggressive and violent behaviour effectively
  • Strong discretion and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Excellent written, verbal, and numerical communication skills
